Geospatial IoT Firm Bulzi Wins US Air Force Contract for “Base of the Future” Technologies

The So What: Bulzi (“bulls-eye”) LLC, a geospatial intelligence services company, won a $1.5 million Phase-II Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contract by the United States Air Force (USAF) through the AFWERX innovation program.

Bulzī specializes in combining Internet of Things (IoT) sensors and Geolocation data to deliver solutions for government and commercial clients. All these applications benefit from Bulzi’s ability to deliver users real-time situational awareness.

Bulzī’s Department of Defense (DoD) solutions allow base security to manage the access and circulation of base personnel, contractors, and visitors. The US DoD currently operates over 500 bases worldwide, and there are hundreds of additional US government “critical infrastructure”.

In addition to military base security applications, Bulzi’s technology is used for law enforcement, first responder, advertising, and retail applications.

Leveraging geolocation data from mobile devices and other sensors has applications for DHS, GSA, state and local law enforcement.
